WoW! Great £2 Million investment in Seaton Estate Arboath. Cresswell Welch going to invest in Seaton Estate to build 40 residential homes and 100 Holiday Homes in Arboath.
Crown Parks Ltd, owned by businessman Cresswell Welch, is planning a stunning development that will see 140 state-of-the-art homes built at its Seaton Estate Complex.
“There are 40 residential homes being constructed at Seaton Estate to add to the 100 holiday homes already completed at the site this year,” says Welch, 58. “‘We are expecting to create many more jobs in the area and are currently growing the team by advertising for more people to complete the developments by the end of summer and to keep them on to do the new developments through next year and ongoing.
Mr Welch “My investment in Abroath will bring a local labour force sustainability for years to come.”
Crown Parks general manager Kyle Robertson, explains: “The homes we are building will bring employment and joy to many people in the area.
The development offers stunning sea views, Victorian lighting, hot tubs, larger landscaped gardens and much more.
“We have already invested more than £1million to put in monoblock drives, beautiful street lighting and have been planting trees and roads to make the complex a very special place to live.”
Welch, who started Crown Parks in 1993, now runs 12 sites across the UK, but the development in Abroath is where he is investing most.
He says: “The Seaton Estate is our flagship site and we intend to make it one of the best places to live and holiday in the country.
“I have also taken into account climate change and the need for more trees to soak up carbon emissions, so I have a major tree and woodland plantation as part of our plans.
This includes a tree-lined walkway and entrance to the park. “The holiday and residential properties we are developing in Abroath will also have insulation to match any modern home, so the end user saves money on heating while also cutting down on emissions.
“As well as both holiday and residential properties, the Abroath complex will also offer a children’s play area, bar and restaurant plus a wellness centre, which we hope will help with people’s mental health, and we are planning yoga and beauty sessions as well as a spa and sauna.
‘We have also transformed an old mansion into an exclusive entertainment venue with bars and restaurant offering traditional pub grub. And we are also looking to offer Indian, Chinese and Oriental foods.” One of the most interesting new properties available to buy at Seaton Estate will be called a Stargazer home.
Welch explains: “This is one of the most innovative developments on the complex and these homes are being built to order to a luxury standard and will allow the owners to sit back and watch the stars at night while sitting on their roof-top terrace.” When he is not running the Crown Parks business, Welch does plenty of charity work.
“I recently donated £15,000 to the Cafe Project in Abroath, a youth club that helps keep kids off the street and negotiating to supply food to the local food bank, run by the Trussell Trust. And last year, one of our customers, who is blind, needed help so I got involved in raising £4,000 for her.”
