Why Seaton House Is the Heart and Soul of Seaton Estate

When people think about choosing a holiday home or residential park home, they naturally focus on the home itself, the views, the plots and the lifestyle. But one thing that often becomes just as important over time is having a place where people come together. That’s exactly what Seaton House provides here at Seaton Estate.

For many owners, Seaton House quickly becomes much more than a building on the park. It becomes a social hub, a place to catch up with friends, meet new people, enjoy entertainment and simply feel part of something.

Whether you own a holiday home and visit regularly throughout the season or live here permanently in one of our residential park homes, having Seaton House right on your doorstep is a huge part of what makes life here special.

A Friendly Face Always Waiting

One of the things owners often mention is the atmosphere — and a lot of that starts with Sharon, our fantastic manager of the bar and entertainment.

Sharon has a wonderful way of making people feel welcome and is always there to greet folk with a smile. Whether you’re a regular popping in for your usual drink or visiting for the first time, she creates the sort of friendly environment where people feel comfortable straight away.

That welcoming atmosphere is a huge part of why Seaton House has become such a central part of life at Seaton Estate.

The Cosy Corner Café

Need a coffee and a catch up? The Cosy Corner Café is open every day and is the perfect place to relax.

Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake or just a chat with neighbours and friends, it gives owners another fantastic facility right here on the park.

Better still, on weekends the café stays open until 7pm, making it an ideal spot to spend a bit more time enjoying the atmosphere.

There’s Always Something Going On

Seaton House really comes alive thanks to the events and activities taking place throughout the week.

We’ve got something for everyone:

🎱 Pool tournaments every Wednesday

🎯 Darts tournaments every Thursday

💰 Bingo every Tuesday and Sunday

There are also regular pub quizzes, karaoke nights, live entertainment, music weekends and special Bank Holiday events throughout the year.

These events aren’t just entertainment — they’re opportunities to laugh, meet people and build friendships.

But one thing many owners really appreciate is that Seaton House strikes the right balance. The social side is there whenever you want it, but it’s never forced upon you. Unlike some larger holiday parks where entertainment can feel constant and overwhelming, Seaton Estate has a much more relaxed feel. After all, we’re still an over 50s park, and many people choose us because of that quieter, more laid-back atmosphere.

If you fancy a coffee, a game of pool, a bit of bingo or some live music, it’s there waiting for you. Equally, if you’d rather spend the afternoon on your decking enjoying the sea air and peace and quiet, that’s absolutely fine too.

Throughout the year we also host occasional larger ticketed events which are always popular with owners. These tend to be special evenings and bigger entertainment acts, with tickets usually around £10–£15. The nice thing though is that the vast majority of the fun, weekly events and entertainment throughout the year is completely free for owners to enjoy.

Particularly Important for Residents Living Alone

One thing we’ve found over the years is how important facilities like Seaton House can be for residents who live on their own.

Having somewhere local to walk over to for a coffee, a game of bingo or simply a conversation can make a huge difference. It creates routine, familiarity and community.

There’s always someone to chat to, always something happening and always a reason to pop in.

More Than Just a Facility

At many parks, facilities can feel like an added extra.

At Seaton Estate, Seaton House feels much bigger than that.

It’s where friendships are formed. It’s where owners meet. It’s where birthdays, weekends and special occasions are enjoyed. It brings people together.

Quite simply, Seaton House isn’t just another building on the park.

It’s the heart and soul of Seaton Estate.
